With classes for 4-7 year olds, 8-11 year olds and 12 and up, there is truly something for everyone in the wide variety of art offered throughout the summer. Ceramics, painting and drawing in all styles inspire students to energize their creativity, while learning about elements of art and art history. Multiple classes/students earn a 10% discount.
Marnée's Studio's Creative Curiosity Camps, for children ages 5-7 and 8-11, are geared towards combining art and science in fun & creative ways. They want to teach children that art and science are interrelated and that there is art in science and science in art. We hope to inspire young people to be curious, ask questions, and to seek their own answers through experimentation. At the same time, hoping to provide them with knowledge, skills, and the confidence to creatively process thoughts, feelings, and concepts.
Classes will be offered throughout the summer with topics changing weekly. You can register for one or for all 5. Some classes will even have expert guest speakers in relevant fields of science! If you would like to see a certain class offered or have ideas, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
