As we say farewell to February, March has arrived in full bloom. As the cold is behind us, it is time to take full advantage of the incredible Spring season we have here in Mobile! Even with this season looking a little different than seasons passed, there are still plenty of safe and family friendly options to add to your itinerary. Bellingrath Gardens Events
Kicking off the top of the list, we have the famous Bellingrath Gardens!

Colonial Fort Charlotte (Condé):
A Mobile staple, history-rich Colonial Fort Conde is a promising Spring day well spent! This French fort is a perfect family outing location for a sunny day.

USS Battleship:
You didn’t think we would leave out the famous USS Battleship, did you? Not only is “Mighty A” a fantastic photo stop, it was recently a major back-drop for the film This Is The Year, but it is jam-packed with history. Alabama BattleShip Memorial Park is home to many historical jets, planes, helicopters, and so much more.

Springtime Picnic:
Mobile County has an endless array of gorgeous picnic spots! Nothing quite says “spring-time” like a relaxing picnic spread underneath the shade of gorgeous oak trees. One of our favorites is at the Mobile Museum of Art.
Take a stroll in the historic district!
A Mobilian favorite pastime! Taking a walk with a loved one along the charming backdrop of our historic district. While this is always a good idea any time of year, nothing quite covers Springtime when the azaleas are in full bloom and the temperature is just right.
Beaches
It wouldn’t be right if we left out our beautiful beaches! Of course, it is best to choose a spot that isn’t too crowded.
