One of Dauphin Island’s most popular seasonal events, the Sunday Sunset Concerts, celebrates the natural beauty and the Island’s designation as the “Sunset Capital of Alabama.” The monthly concerts begin about 90 minutes before the sun goes down. Music and beach lovers are invited to bring lawn chairs, snacks, beverages and a laid back attitude to the West End Beach. Admission is only $5 per person with free admission for children 12 and under. All proceeds benefit the Island’s Little Red School House project.
Join us July 28th, as we welcome for the first time, Mobile's legendary Mardi Gras Ambassadors, the Excelsior Jazz Band led by our great friend, Hosea London. This is going to be some kind of sunset!
