Pippi Longstocking is a red-haired, freckle-faced, unpredictable 9-year-old girl who has upside-down braids and does NOT want to grow up. She is the daughter of a buccaneer captain and always has adventurous stories to tell. Pippi’s best friends are her horse and monkey, and the neighbor’s children Tommy and Annika. These friends have the most rollicking adventures with horses, monkeys, the circus, and more!
