Technical Support Engineer
We are searching for an analytical problem solver with experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and systems. The ideal applicant should be a flexible, service-minded team player and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to see the big picture. You see problems as a challenge and maximize equipment up time through timely response and effective and efficient repair with selective customer training to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Required skills include repair, documentation, teamwork, and use of provided resources. Technical degree (electronic/electric) and/or equivalent years of field related experience plus 2 to 3 years support or field service experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and think independently.
Experience with inkjet printers a plus
Mechanical and electrical aptitude and demonstrated skills.
Knowledge of Basic Networking.
Computer and analytical skills.
Laser/led xerography repair experience a plus
Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free.
Provide accurate feedback with call close information, parts and usage reporting
Communicate and interact with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive and professional.
Must be able to problem solve, conduct written and verbal communication
read and comprehend technical information.
High School Diploma minimum and Electronics degree a plus
Competent in English and other EU languages a plus
Must have valid driver license
Willing to travel throughout EMEA
