What's Happening This Halloween in Mobile, AL

Sept 28th - Oct. 31, 7-10pm

Come and enjoy the final season of Thriller Nights of Lights at Hank Aaron Stadium. Look no further for family-friendly fun this Halloween season! This drive-thru light show is synchronized with music playing through your car radio. Displays of giant spiders, spooky eyes, friendly ghosts, and tumbling scarecrows are just a few of the displays you’ll see dancing to a fun variety of music. The only show of its kind in the country, Thriller Nights of Lights will thrill kids and adults of all ages.

Oct. 12 - 31st, 9am

The Dauphin Way United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch is one of the largest in Mobile. For nearly 3 weeks, the patch is open to the public and full of pumpkins, gourds, and mums of all shapes and sizes. Birthday parties and school field trips available. All proceeds go to benefit missions trips and church youth programs.

Mobile's Playhouse-in-the-Park will present four public performances of "Dracula" in October.  Public shows are set for 7:30 p.m. October 19 and 20, 2018.

Sunday, Oct. 21st, 1pm - 4pm

Grab your favorite costume for a fun-filled afternoon for superheroes, princesses, pirates and goblins of all ages. Come dressed in your best costume as our keepers will be walking around with golden tickets looking for costumes that catch their eye. Each ticket may be redeemed in the gift shop for a t-shirt.

Boo at the Zoo is a fun way for families to trick or treat and enjoy Halloween festivities in a safe and unique environment. The Zoo will be decked out for Halloween fun complete with trick-or-treat stations, face painting and games. Don't forget your trick-or-treat bag! Stroll around and see how creative our keepers get with decorations. There will be critter walks with lots of our feathered and furry friends out to say hello!

Members get in free with membership card | Children 2 and under are FREE

The Zoo will be closed until doors open at 1 pm to set up for the event. Encounters will not be available during Boo at the Zoo.

Downtown Trick or Treat is a fabulous family tradition, and a safe way for kids of all ages to enjoy a little pre-Halloween fun!

Dress up your little goblins and enjoy a day full of Halloween fun at Bellingrath!

The Gardens will be decorated with spooky and fun inflatables. There will be plenty of treats and trinkets from area organizations and businesses for trick-or-treaters to enjoy. The day will include musical entertainment on Live Oak Plaza. Guests are invited to enjoy culinary delights from local food trucks.

Admission includes entrance into Bellingrath Gardens for the day and is $14.00 for adults, $8.00 for children ages 5-12 and free for children ages 4 and under. Please be advised that tickets are non-refundable. Members of the Friends of Bellingrath are as always free. Home tour tickets are available for additional charges.

What's up, Mobile Witches!! Delta Dogs is excited to host the 3rd Annual Witches Ride to Mobile, Alabama! On October 28th, we challenge you to get your best, most fabulous witch costume together and hop on your broom (aka your bicycle - yeah decorate that too!) for a 3-mile, easy paced bike parade around downtown Mobile and DeTonti Square. The fun will end in a fabulous block party with music, libations, and food available from local food trucks and our party hosts, The Blind Mule. Your ticket also gets you access to the block party, a free beer and an event t-shirt. Other beverages will be for sale through onsite vendors. Warlocks (men) are welcome to ride with their witches! All of this fun is for a good cause - Delta Dogs, a local non-profit that provides free spay/neuter and veterinary care to the pets of Mobile's community in need (e.g. elderly, disabled, veterans, families and women in crisis, the homeless, etc.)

Brews and Boos at Serda Brewing Co. Carve your pumpkins and get your costume ready. Costume and Jock O' Lantern Party featuring a Firkin Pumpkin Beer Release. Bring your Jack O' Lantern or wear a costume and Receive 5 tickets for your Jack o' lantern or 10 tickets for wearing a costume to be entered into the prize drawings. Prizes are a growler, t-shirt and $45 gift card. You must be present to win a prize drawing.

Saturday, Oct. 27th, 10am - 2pm

Join us for an Animated Halloween at the Gulf Coast Exploreum on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 from 10-2pm! Family friendly activities and demos will be inspired by animation while exploring the amazing world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Enjoy creative flip books, bat crafts, yummy banana mummies, ghost orbs, spooky sounds of a Theremin, games, cartoons and more!!

Event included in general admission or free for Exploreum members.

We will also be joined by our Animal Tales, LLC friends for a "creepy" installment of their awesome animal experiences!

Don’t forget to dress up in your Halloween costume, because prizes will be awarded during 12:30pm costume contest. Be sure not to miss our annual exploding pumpkin in the courtyard during one of the Exploreum’s most loved Events.

Eastern Shore Lanes - Spanish Fort

Head to the lanes for all you can bowl for $12 per person. Shoe rentals, $5 Arcade card, Colored head pin/STRIKE Trick or treat all included! You can also enjoy a candy corn martini and face painting!
